The Poetry Book

by Ray Smallshaw   Jun 27, 2009

The following words from the film Doctor Zhivago are words spoken by his best friend to Lara Zhivago's true love at his wake as he passes her his poetry book, bring hope to me for the future: 'we're all in there----- but most of all you.'

As I hope one day the people who in this life time I have loved will appreciate the words enclosed in my poetry book and find them worthy.

My poems you see are a written record of all the Love, joy and happiness I have shared with them.

A simple testament to the wonderful life I have lived.
