True beauties namesake

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Jul 9, 2009

I remember once I heard your heart,
and noticed ours stride as one.
I swayed beneath your grace and beauty,
In the light of the rising sun.

As the accessory of your beauty,
Ascended to your home in the heavens,
you melted my icy heart away.
You turned my sixes into sevens.

I could only wish upon a shining star
to have you as my own.
Someone to save me from myself,
so I didn't feel so alone.

And here you stand before my eyes,
a total dream come true.
I knew from that moment on,
the one I wanted was you.

Through painted smiles and shadowed glances,
you were always by my side.
If you kissed me, I'd have to stand still,
until euphoria subsides.

Because it is, and has been your kiss,
that has always seen me through.
Because you are true beauties namesake.
The angels were named after you.
