Confinement (Collab With Temps)

Why do they all blame me?
I'm not unstable, not a danger--
I guess that leaves me as a victim...
a victim of my own crime.

I see what they refuse to see--
Death...lingering in every word.
Lies...hiding behind every smile.
I am life, I am honesty...
Yet here I am, decaying in this cell.

Solitary confinement--.
My bittersweet reward.

Thanks to a simple overdose--
of destructive reality,
that whisked me away to this vacant
space to cure my insanity--
or so thats what they say.

Who let them diagnose me?

The medications they give me
are useless, their help is not needed.
I'm stable, yet they think I'm crazy.
Sure my emotions are scattered; void
Yet--the strength beneath these scars
is what keeps my heart pumping.

Break the chains that confine me--
I'm not insane just bothered by reality..
