Last Breath

by iFallToPieces   Jul 10, 2009

Her last breath lingered as his hands wrapped around her throat,
She tried telling him to stop, but all she did was choke.
His smell still lingers, while shes lying awake in bed,
Replaying the moment, now she wished she was dead.

Her frightful scream, only gives him an uplifting rush,
Hands clamped over her mouth, 'no one will hear you so hush"
She jerks away, but he pulls her near,
Inside his head, a strong voice is all he hears.

She was left scared, but in no one did she trust,
"This is my secret, I must hide it, I must'
No one knew, what she went through that night,
Only the guy, the guy she tried and tried to fight.

He didn't kill her, but he sure as hell thought he did,
After he was through with his game, she curled up like a little kid.
He didn't utter a word, and neither did she,
So he ran away, before she had to see.

She can't remember much, but suffocation, hands tight around her throat.
She can't understand what she did to provoke.
His torturous attack, when he left her for dead,
No one else knows what was going through her head.

He continued his crimes, nothing but glee in his head
Joyful, and happy, but soon he will be dead.
One night this girl, whom he thought wanted to have fun,
She shot him in the head, and started to run.

She was lying in bed, when she had a thought,
If she ended her life, she would no longer feel like dirt.
So she waited for everyone, to fall asleep,
She muffled the shot, and she fell to her feet.

*none of this is true, its not really good, i just had a thought and started writing
