She elegantly sits
atop colorless cushions,
anxiously awaiting her prince.

Mindlessly working,
as she crawls across
the aging day.

Her light is dimming
yet effortlessly
she breathes fire.

Passion flares
stain royal blue skies
a sanguine tint.

As buoyant wings of
powerful devotion
grant her stability

Glowing fervor
hypnotically
tugs him closer.

    Very poetic language. In poetry it is all about using the right adjectives to make a piece that is memorable:)

    Like here "royal bleu"and " sanguine" are well chosen to create an image. It is the icing on the proverbial cake.
