Explosion

by BlueEyedMystery   Jul 27, 2009

You crashed into
my world today,
All blacks and purples
in my heart,
Bruised and numb.
Love me today.
Don't let us drift apart.
Your lips tore
me apart today,
Teeth sunk into my
throat.
You never really
liked it much,
Never really
liked what I wrote.
Red lines
in my head today,
But they get crushed down
hard,
Can't let it be this way,
I'm already way
too scarred.
I watched
the world explode today,
Green and blue
colored clouds.
Smoke lit up my world today,
And I don't seem
to care somehow.

*Such a dark image. I loved it. Very eye catching.*

*I love how you ended this. You talk about the world exploding but you seems so calm....which gives me an even sadder feeling. Makes me realize that you didn't care if you lived or died. I agree with the poet above, the emotions you used here are so raw but also clear to understand. Very nice work. Keep it up ^.^ Nik*
