Perfect

by Beautiful Forever   Sep 23, 2009

A whirlwind cascades in the sunset,
Airbrushed colors taint the sky,
A grey cloud symbolizes regret,
While the ground is arid and dry,

A breeze softens the teal to blue,
White puffs fill the empty spaces,
Trapped under a sky forever true,
Below are lost, abandoned places,

A boy looks up in wonder,
The endless sky taunts him on,
Intrigued by the spell he's under,
He stares into the dawn,

Just as soon, the darkness falls,
Night is spectated by the moon,
The boy is silent as fate calls,
Knowing dawn will come too soon,

Waiting for his life to be real,
He is lost in an empty dream,
Just once he wants to feel,
That things are as they seem:

Perfect
