Man's Pride

by Jad   Oct 25, 2009

His standard high.
Got where he is through lies,
And now head of a company.
His pride will have him on his knees.

High above everyone else,
Doesn't stop in his run.
Not helping a friend at all,
His pride will be his fall.

Stubborn as could be,
Blind from the truth he'll never see.
Never taking anyone's advice,
This will be his demise.

Now even all alone,
And through all he has been shown.
He is bind to his pride,
To which he will always be confided.

Now dead he is;
By none he is missed.
Pride consumed his life,
Up until the last night.
