Evanescent Mistress [Collab]

A snake-bitten voile swirls
in murmuring winds, passing on
scandalous stories--a woeful
treatment of golden charms.
Sorrowful eyes, scarcely diabolic,
now bereave one's sign of life.

Nut trees' silhouettes deform
shapes of recognition, arbitrary
diminishing--analogous innocence.
Like shadow-plays instil illusion;
her dark reign entrenches distress.
(Eternal abasement presides power.)

Effulgent in peerless beauty,
yet hated by mortal men.
(Once prey of the recidivist--
most treacherous of divines.)
Vestal chastity; amorally tainted
now sullied, a disgrace.

A sanctified misogynistic; belligerent
infernal stare presages--barren breaths
while, poisonous hate--shrouds dismal torment.
Awaken seclusion, a monstrous perennially
and nevermore, was the truth revealed.
(Weep not at a virgin's wake!)

Wailing tones echo--vindictively,
amassing hierarchic influence.
Reflections serve as comeuppance
when versatile opulence crumbles--
vilify not the perpetuation!
(Silently engraving headstones.)

Revered lips, now a sacrosanct
nestling upon mortal death.
"Fabled enchantress visage"
eidetic-- upon women's umbrages.
A material effigy, of regal artistry
wreathed in noble simplicity.

Mournful cries for resurrection
enslave statues to venomous liquid--
dripping into an abyss of dimness:
unguarding temper; shaping scars.
Somber tokens of the disastrous past
adrift between divergent minds.
