Frozen Isles

by Fixxxer   Jan 3, 2010

Scarlet dame in winter weeps.
Below the spring of sorrow sleeps.
Frozen Isles in tortured dreams.
Silver scars of wretched screams.
Moonlit sky from dusk till dawn.
Fading light will soon be gone.
Gnarled limbs in shadows fall.
Mother earth consumes us all.

Nothing like a cool, dark ryhme to brighten up the day. You left me humming an old song, and I don't know why. Maybe I just like your version of the dark. Good write.
