Across Roads

by Dark Secrets   Jan 18, 2010

Sitting, talking
Clock tick tocking
Feet are sore
Waiting bore
Eyes are swelling
Closing, dosing
For a while... until it reaches here
Calm, cozy and clear
No need to keep trip adorning
Till next morning...

Determination
No more boring station
Mind is swirling
Quite assuring
Pushing me to stall some more
Walking slowly on the floor
Going here and there today
Not the stop like everyday
Get a drink
Time is ticking on the brink

Without a care
Up the stair
Where my mobile lies alone
Grab the phone
Back downstairs
Veins are pumping spiky hairs
Walking quickly
Mocking rays twinkly
In my eyes
What a surprise

People still standing
Heart is calming
Until bags are picked from ground
Lost is found
Feet pattering
To the gathering
All are leaving
I start believing
Sense is pouring
To my mind soaring

Engines roaring
I start imploring
Don't leave me here behind!
Speed I must find
Ducking, Diving, Running, jumping
Shoes are slipping
Left in the road
Honking horn a code
Move away
Run again okay

Calming red
Excitement spread
From inside
Skid aside
Moving, waving, shouting, pleading
Green preceding
Hopelessness rising
Adrenalin disguising
Fireworks in my core
Puffs of relief conquer more

Finally halting inside
The uni bus ride
