Paper bound together,
With the strength of just string.
Just give them a pen,
Just watch what people will bring.

Boards build boxes,
That line wall upon wall.
With the strength to hold the weight of the world,
To never let it fall.

We find meaning behind words,
So much in what we say.
The will to carry on,
The command to obey.

What can I describe?
What knowledge will line,
These books that I write,
These pages of mine.

I like this poem, not for the exact story behind it...but for the feelings I was able to take from it. Most of the stanzas seemed kind of random; like troubled thoughts taking over in form. I have one suggestion in order to make it flow a little better:

"With the strength of just string
    Just give them a pen
Just watch what people will bring"

Try: Just watch what people bring.

It kinda helps when you don't have to stumble over the beginning lines. Other than that, I enjoyed the read.
