Never Turn Around - Soldier's Cry

by january friend   Mar 11, 2010

Would you come stand by my side,
If you had to risk your life?
Would you follow me in,
Just to save someone's friend?
Could you not be afraid?
Guarantee one life saved.
Out that door we will go,
Maybe not return home.

Sirens will roar and fires rage,
But we will not quit,
We won't disengage.
Return to the fight,
Trust me I'm right.
We'll never back down,
And never turn around.

Come far away from home,
So far away with me.
To see death and destruction,
To see what I see.
You'll never be the same,
You'll learn and know shame.
Learn how to fight,
To make this world right.

It seems kinda quick and rushed if you extended it a bit... but its your choice but still it was meaningful and thought provoking which is what really matters there was alot of emotion that really seems lost in a world like this but you did a great job the poem was really good!!
