While Thinking of You

Our adventure has ended, our journey, our quest.
We were once a couple,and one of the best.
But one day it happened and with no reason why,
we hated each other and said our good-byes.
So i moved on with no thought and no care;
forgetting the feelings you might not have shared.
Your feelings of love that you just threw away
and now the regret that i'm not there today.
Instead i'll be held by someone you knew
and you'll stand there thinking how that could've been you.
You'll go in your room and ask yourself why,
why you decided to tell me good-bye.
You'll go through the memories that made your heart stall,
then you'll list all the reasons you ended it all.
You'll think and you'll think until your head hurts.
Then you will wonder which one was worse.
Being with me and having our fights,
or sitting alone and thinking the mights?
Your conclusion will come, it will be nothing new.
Just the same things i'm thinking, while thinking of you.
