Queen of Facade

She's the queen of facade; the goddess of masquerade,
she can make you believe anything with just her smile,
she'll pull you in and let you hang there a while,
you can't tell by the look on her face she's crying out,
screaming on the inside, but somehow still smiling away,
she'll hold your hand and act like you're the one; one of them anyway,
you'll be another fool who played into her cruel game,
while she's putting on that smile; you'll get the blame,
she's flashing those dazzling blue eyes so coy at your friends,
when really she'll just find another reason to be in bed with them,
she'll put on her best grin when she's really just a one night stand,
laughing away all the pains she'd been through and you'll end up the fool,
if cinderella wasn't meant to lose a slipper to find prince charming,
then maybe, miss facade wouldn't have to whimper for an easy lay,
she pops drugs to get rid of all the memories of her last lay,
hoping that maybe, he'll forget her just like night and day,
she's just another queen of facade with a killer smile and dazzling eyes,
when really she's just crying on the inside with no way out,
she's putting on mask for the next ballroom appearance,
she's the queen of facade and the goddess of masquerade.

Sorry to say I have known people like this, the queen of facade and the goddess of masquerade and could apply to men as well as women. You have captured the essence of them with your words and they are sometimes hard to spot they ply their craft so well. Good job.
