The End

by Sylvia   Feb 25, 2010

Devils and demons of the past,
have driven me to this precipice,
high above the ocean at last.
Waves crashing upon the rocks below,
sound roaring in my ears,
one step is all it takes to join the ghosts from long ago,
residing in my mind for years.

Here is where I find peace,
the place the end will come.
Without your love, life will cease,
plans for the future, our dreams
dashed against the craggy shore.
Echos of yesterday amid the screams,
heard only by me, there is no more.

For me I find this a very realistic write as so many took that finall leap in a situation such as this.
It is vividly portrayed and well penned.

When love is lost & death holds our mind, it
leaves us in a dark world...I like the images
and the emotions you created in this write.
    Well done with the challenge!
