Captivation

Transparent thoughts deter.
A haunting image blinds.
The light of day is blotched and blurred
As the pendulum erases time.

I lose feelings in words.
What's left unsaid rules now,
As this path now swerves
Keeping me bound in a shroud.

I lose the sight of serenity
I deny feelings in my heart
This fatal captivation wasn't free
As it slowly tears me apart

Endings find new beginning,
I lose myself today.
One sound slowly now rings
That keeps me now astray.
