Yesterdays Gone

by Jad   Mar 12, 2010

The conversations; forever now gone.
Where did the time go?
The old translations, from so very long,
Now today hope dies.
The lost memories, will never be found.
No matter how much I try.
The truth I'll never see, silent now no sound.
Yesterdays Gone.

The passing moments; fly by so fast.
Gone like the silent wind.
Was it ever meant, to ever even last?
The truth is now all gone.
Old lost ties, never to be rebuilt.
Is this feeling wrong?
Even as I try to deny, all the bridges we built.
Yesterdays Gone.

To know the end; It would destroy me.
The end of that day.
No matter how it's mend, the end i won't see.
But today still lingers.
Do I stay in the past, Should I move to now?
I can't hold on to this partial cure.
For time passes by so fast, unveiling from its shroud
Yesterdays Gone.

Your words have a maturity to them that is difficult even for some adults. Yesterday is gone and you have posed good questions. Should you move on, stay in past. Rest assured they are questions we all ask of ourselves. Well done.
