Goodbye Baby Girl, Love China (Sonnet)

by eehcuhhhz   Mar 27, 2010

Watch the mother holding desperately
To the baby girl of two days old
Uncontrolled shower of emotions
Feelings of guilt unravel and unfold

Watch the baby girl crying forlornly
Though ignorant to her sentenced fate
Her cries bellowed of blissful ignorance
Of unknowing her closeness to Reaper's gate

Watch the mother gently laying
Her first born in an empty bin
Leaving her with goodbye kisses
On her forehead, lips, and chin

The heartfelt sounds of the baby's wail
Tell the sorrowful story of China's tale
