Starlights Kiss

by DarkCrystalbtrfy   Apr 9, 2010

Yesterday is gone, so is tomorrow
And as I cry out, my loss and sorrow
The moonlight shadows, cross my eyes
Picture perfect, there she lies
A heart undone by continuing despair
Teardrops she cried, as I was not there
How can I live without her here?
Desperation haunts my endless howls
Angry teardrops soon after fallow
I swear by life, by death it will be
That I will forever stay by your side, and it will deem
That this heart inside my chest will surely slow
Without yours beating, ours cannot be as one
Life has no meaning, now that your gone
So before I go I give you this
This one simple single kiss
And as he placed it upon her lips
New life flowed from his fingertips
Illuminating her darkened gaze
Her heart so broken came together and became
Whole with the love of one who had waited so long
To see the smile alight on her lips
To see her heart mended at the seams
Not that terrible twisted thing.

It is astonishing what the heart repairs. To be fullfilled and cared for repairs all wounds, just by knowing that for a moment, someone looked at us, and saw that under it all is a person. Great work.
