Without Reason (Memento)

by Sylvia   Apr 10, 2010

Act a little crazy today,
run, hop, skip, sing a song.
Be free.
Enjoy before you're old and grey.
Having fun can't be wrong
you see.

Pull off those shoes, feel grass
tickle your toes without
resolve.
Do something just because, don't pass,
kick up your heels and shout.
Evolve.

*Just Because Day (Also my birthday), August 27th
Finally, you have a chance to do something without a rhyme or reason. Most often in life, we do things because we have to, or we want to, or it's expected of us. None of those reasons apply on Just Because Day.

    Inspirational and beautiful indeed.
Everyone should kick up their feet and have a wonderful time, for it's a day when we realize that we've lived another year.

Excellent job Sylvia with the form. You did a great job painting a picture of someone having fun on their birthday. Keep writing.
