Dear future self,

For reasons my heart has bled,
A journal of ours shall be kept,
No longer will tears be shed,
Nor will we write of times wept,

Time has passed all too soon,
With each passing year I age,
I see more than the silent moon,

Dear future self,

She kissed me! Not once but twice!
Only if the stars would align...
I used fireworks to break the ice,
Now I'm just waiting for a sign...
