You Are My Smile.

by Courageous Dreamer   Apr 16, 2010

Your sentimental amity-
like the velvet spring breeze
caresses the abyss of my heart;
abolishing artifacts of misery-
titillating each emotion I withhold-
sculpting a luminous expression-
from your warm admiration.

I taste each word of your consolation-
scrutinizing every moment;
absorbing all its beauty-
As I cascade; voluntarily --
into your arms.

Happiness quells fragmented words-
waiving me speechless-
infusing the air-
revealing my contentment.

This smile alludes to your name;
can you hear its faint echo?
see its glisten in the distance?
inhale its essence?
savor its beauty?
feel its delicacy?

    This was beautiful Temps, it started out so intense to me, there was a mouthful of description and it only got better. I loved how you added the questions on the end that made the reader smile, well done. You put this together well and I felt such a sense of happiness.

    Keep on writing girl!
