Sorrows Despair(Monchielle)

by Jad   Apr 25, 2010

Embrace sorrows despair
Death haunts me day and night
Frustration shatters me
I scream for my release
Painful fragments I see

Embrace sorrows despair
Sadness now overwhelms
Chaos is absolute
I hide in a disguise
Survival- resolute-

Embrace sorrows despair
I linger in shadows
A door to the light side
Now no longer stands there
It must have been a lie

Embrace sorrows despair
The end is now coming
Watching the days pass by
I lie here in my grave
Wanting again to try

Club Contest-I used the following words: Survive death scream frustration chaos haunt sadness embrace shatter despair painful fragment sorrow absolute disguise

This in my opinion is one of the hardest forms to master. Only thing I saw that may be wrong, shouldn't the first line of the first stanza be identical to the first line of the rest of the stanzas? you have death in the first stanza, & then the others are despair. Other than that really nice job.

Nice work with the form and the message of your words Austin. At times we have to embrace sorrow and despair or else it will destroy us.
