Lonely World

by The Queen   Jun 10, 2010

As geniuses design;
```my destiny's canvas,
``````requiem of sanity-
`````````stirs, a sullen howl.
`````Floating in the shadows-
`````of forever dusk;
`````mysteries unmasked,
`````I'm but a petite sight.
````````````````````````Caught in the web of throes,
````````````````````as darkness devours light.
````````````````Now, a night to recant;
````````````my world--of no beauty.
    I love the poem. Excellent word choice and use of metaphors. I didn't understand the reason for all the ..........though. None-the-less, a nice little piece!
    I agree with Faithless, being small doesn't affect the impact a person can have on the world. Your writings are proof that you can stand tall and proud, period.
    This is very thought provoking, I guess you have a point here. It just shows that being small doesn't really have an impact of how the great things that you want to be or achieve. Size is just mind over matter, If you don't mind it doesn't matter. Overall you did an Excellent job here:)
