What Is It Like?

What is it like?
To be the rain cloud
On a sunny day?

It feels like trying to
Stop the spread of a
Virus, and failing

What is it like?
To loose happiness,
And fake it everyday?

It feels like an angel
Fallen from grace
And painted white

What is it like?
To need somebody,
And have nobody?

It is your worst fear
Coming true to
Haunt your conscious
