Confused

by Alexandra   Aug 24, 2010

We talked,
We flirted,
We found a love that was only for us.
At school we'd talk,
And soon I was sure,
No one would ever make us grown apart.
I asked you out,
And found you were teasing my brain.
I can't help but think it was a nasty game.
I cried all night,
But you didn't care.
All you noticed was that she was there.
You held her close,
And made her laugh.
You looked out for her and watched her back.
Now you kiss her slowly,
And a tear runs down my cheek.
I knowingly realize what you did to me.
So I refuse to love,
I refuse to care.
And I refuse to remember a love that was never there.
