Above the Sky

by Alexandra   Aug 24, 2010

I'm watching you,
Don't think I'm not.
I'm the angel you forgot.
My last dying scream,
Before the bullet hits my chest.
You'll remember even though you don't know yet.
I hope you cry when you see my wrist.
See that I engraved your name upon it.
The delicate skin that you once touched,
Is now frayed and bloody.
Is this too much?
I know you won't believe the rumors at school.
When my friends ask what happened,
What will you do?
Will you tell them the truth?
That you stood me up.
Or will you lie and say you weren't quick enough?
So I'm watching you above the sky,
Watching, living in your lie.
