One Single Tear

Gazing into nothing
There is a familiar place
No sadness nor joy
Expressionless face

But inside my mind
Thoughts are racing
All of my mistakes
I have been tracing

My hopes and dreams
Slowly fading
Outer emotions
I've been evading

Upon my cheek
What should appear
Something unexpected
One single tear

Its hard to hide
All of your fears
You keep buried inside
With the rest of your tears

    Bottled up thoughts as well as feelings cause us such heartache..and like Olwin said a single tear does make it even more sad..touching..take care.
