Lonely with You

I've never felt so alone
Until now.
You led me to believe you were a good man
Until now.

You treat me horribly
And I let you.
You constantly disrespect me
And I let you.

It's not that I'm weak,
It's just that I love you.
I know I'm stronger than this
But it's because I love you.

You tell me you love me
And I believe you.
You tell me we'll have a happy future
And I believe you.

I feel like I've lost a huge part of me
And I can't get it back.
You took away my smile
And I can't ever get it back.

No one knows
About what I'm going through.
You don't even care
About what I'm going through.

You used to be perfect
But now you're a different person.
You used to care about me
But now you're a different person.

And what you became frightens me.

    Ur title is beautifully contradicted and I have a poem under the same subject..in which i say

    "as i walk this road with you
    i can feel a better lonesome"

    and u truly revealed this feeling in a sad sad heartfelt way..the repetition of the lines really suited the flow at some points and at some others made the flow off..but doesnt matter much for me..because I just loved what kind of emotions u worded

    i love this piece as well

    I also love this poem. I can totally relate to this!! The words in this poem really tugged at the heartstrings.
