Never end

by kevin Boundy AKA the ghost   Oct 11, 2010

I could write a million ballads
and it would always fail to measure
the amount of love I'll always feel
for gods most valued treasure

every smile she gives me
warms me to my very core
I'll use my last and final breath
to tell her that I love her more

all I wanted is a chance
for me to treat you right
because, in a world of pitch black darkness,
you are my one and only light

I could write a million stanzas,
and it could never come close,
to describing how much I care,
about the angel I love most.

it is your voice, it is your stare,
that caused my broken heart to mend
if I explained the love that binds me
this poem would never end
