Forgotten

by Jad   Nov 5, 2010

Emptiness resounding in hollow halls
monotone with lost words,
draining my mind
of emotions and inspiration;
my pen dies now forgotten.

Sorrow spilled in lines,
dripping with pain,
resounds again
but devoid of meaning
written yet forgotten.

All I ever was or would be
is washed away; cascading down
in a puddle of colors
evaporated into the past-
lost and now forgotten.

    You can definitely feel your sadness in this piece, I thought you did an excellent job.. loved when you said that your words were written yet forgotten, like Sylvia said that will never be the case...but I liked the line! Keep writing.

    Austin, I get the message of your words but have to say, you will never be forgotten. Nice work.
