Spiders webs mend no wounds

by Dark Secrets   Nov 29, 2010

Thy art the tiny spider
Living between the cracks
Of oh so fragile fragments
Which build your dying heart

Thy art the tiny spider
Which listens to your spirit
Feels it's very aches and woe
Cries shudder shattered souls

Thy art the tiny spider
Tingling your soul with joy
Smiles emerge beneath the darkness
Despite anguish in your core

Thy art the tiny spider
Mending cracks with glue of webs
Yet as wishful as thy art
Spiders webs mend no wounds

Thy art the tiny spider
Willing love to be as strong
As to turn my webs to flesh
Eternal effect to thou heart

Thy art the tiny spider
Which someday will turn you whole
Transform rain showers into rainbows
Renew your hearts amore

I thought the repition was a good touch, you really helped the flow this way, I liked the wording, reminded me of William Shakespeare with those lines "Why Art Thou"
I love the touch of the spider, and the ending which was mpre positive than expected, a really great piece Zahra

I liked the title, totally fits the poem. This is a very powerful piece, the repetition was effective, and I especially loved how you ended this in a positive way. :)
