Reliving your golden touch

by Poet on the Piano   Dec 4, 2010

Frosted stanzas
crunch under snow boots,
dormant and untied
with overbearing room
for bitter toes.

Fierce anticipation
corrodes the sidewalk;
steam heats nearby home,
kettle and stove woken.

Imprint the drizzly month,
sterling stones and cheekbones,
onto fireplace of hearty brick
and flush of heavenly angel,

like lips linger on enrapturing wine
so shall your fair remembrance intertwine.
