Tracing perpetually

by Poet on the Piano   Feb 2, 2011

Healing finds harmony where rivers echo
Enduring rain and promises too immersed.

Is this the way we carve our forgetful body?
Somehow, against failure, love restrains nothing.

Moonlight cites that separation is an excuse of fear,
You can never stray from the air we have fostered.

Marry me without interest in overbuilding success and riches
And by committing our covenant with the greatest promise
No one will smear our faith before yesterday's remnants.

At times, the sea overpowers a simple wish of a bird,
Nightly calling invokes the winged to move toward home,
Directed newly, possibly unmarked, hushed in murmurs.

My love will never see the end of that ocean,
Your voice of refrain will never be ticketed away.

Like windows remembered with frozen initials
In our book of written and unwritten delicacies,
Forever our tracings will last, past frost and decay,
Eternity is promised by our Lord who has united us.

For in one spiritual journey we are granted
One boundless flight through destiny's butterfly
Running not for the time or chance, but for the skies.
Ever wonder why characters, a lady and prince
Veer from such earthly reminders and marches,
Early life in a newborn's eyes beckon us
Right underneath what we climbed to truly live.
