Gaining Ground

by tainted melody   Feb 5, 2011

Lost is her steps,
unaware of what's around.

She's falling apart, she's breaking down.

Mind filled with tragedy,
not hearing a sound.

She's falling apart, she's breaking down.

Crippled by life,
with sadness she's bound.

She's falling apart, she's breaking down.

But when all this is done,
her strength she will have found.

She's rising up she's gaining ground.

This poem was good. I liked that you described a girl who was broken but at the end of the experience she has found a strength she probably didn't even know she had. Loved it. Nice Write. :)
