Delusion

by Sunshine   Apr 4, 2011

I previously
sprinted my touches
across my heart's key
and someone trembled
with the purpose
clinging to my fingertips...
-deceitful-

Perhaps, I was
a future reader,
when hurricanes
betrayed the harvest.
For I was flaccid,
thus I imprinted
his caring sentiments
in rows at the break
of the clearest days;
hurt poured.

He was,
a figure lifter
when frames were
soaked in dust.
A portion of fantasy,
so I unlocked the keys
that night to watch him
fainting away.

When the mist swayed
infront of my sight,
he was gone,
like he was never there

Powerful words! It's crazy how people can fray from us like they never existed at all, especially when they meant so much. Your words are still ringing through my head, powerful write.
    Take care
