Somewhere In Destiny~

by Poet on the Piano   Apr 16, 2011

-

It was a perfect choice
to find you again...
what reality planned,
time couldn't bear to forget
such strength.

On storming midnights where stars fell,
we fondled each other and held one flesh,
never tiring.

When rejoined after decades
passion still stirred courageously;
I never withdraw body from cradling
your moving chest, your sailing eyes,
everything I'd always known.

We'll be forever where
we last watched song of dawn-
the only lovers created to remember.

Prompt: Love Forever
In 50-75 words.

I just finished reading "The Notebook" in one day and it is my favorite book by far...I love how even though it seems like Allie will forget one night cherished with Noah, doctors call her a miracle, and in the end she remembers him so fondly...because love that perfect and strong can never be forgotten. What inspiration and beauty! It can never be lost.
