Angelic Whisper

He was a brave soldier
Fighting on the land of love
He never knew what fear is
And he never gave up

He knew he had to win her heart
So he fought as a gladiator for her
This time he was so close to win
But instead of winning, he lost her

He was hiding behind his castle walls
Wishing that time will go back to when
They were both breathing the same air
And she was his only reason to win

The high walls of his castle could not
Hide the source of agony he felt within
But he had to fight the loneliness
Which was crawling beneath his skin

In every battle he then fought
He seems to loose his strength
And he keeps wishing that she
Will come and carry him on her wings

But he lost his battle, and lost the war
And now he can rest his eyes with her
He was struggling as he took his last breath
But he was gone listening to her angelic whisper

    I have 2 soldier brothers n ma grandpa was also a soldier n ma papa a cop.... n i can understand d pain n suffering dey go on tryin @ protect deir motherland, fightin $ unknown ppl.... walkin d thread where death lurks behind every corner layin in ambush.... 4 em dey have only dreamz, memories, hopes, neva endin wait etc which either nature or fellow soldiers kno.... a gr* tribute 2 d tru unsung heroes.... nyc 1 yet again gal... keepz itz upz....;)
