Worth More Then Gold

by Courtney Hough   May 8, 2011

I don't care for money,
I don't want diamond rings.
All I want is you,
you can be my everything.

You may not believe me,
or maybe you do.
I mean what I say,
especially "I love you."

I told you how I'm up,
during the hours of the night.
Reflecting on everything,
hoping you dream of me tonight.

I know these are just words,
written with a paper and a pen.
But you mean so much to me,
more now then you did then.

The last time I saw you,
I couldn't take my eyes off you.
Counted your last steps with my heart,
I swear all my words are true.

I wanna see you,
Be in your hold.
I don't need riches,
your worth more then gold.

With this I sign,
a promise you already knew.
With a million reasons why,
#1 though, I love you.
