Remember To Feel It

by Lady Nik   May 17, 2011

Words stronger than marble,
I'll write them in the sky
for the world to see, for
the world to know.

Je t'aime pour toujours

My mind can't even speak it's
native tongue. You've
bewitched me, made me
an alien in my skin. I don't
want to belong anywhere
that doesn't belong to you.

For the first time, the only time
I felt something other than
this heart of mine, beating
endlessly in my chest. I felt...
love. Something so vague
and imaginary is now more
concrete than the ground
I stand on.

I'll remember the way our
bodies moved like oceans
held in hands of angels.
But mostly I'll remember that--

I felt it.
I felt it.
Je l'ai senti.

I too loved each and every line. You have your own style and it's brilliant. I will read much more of your work as time allows.

I know many will quote their favourite verse here, but I just loved all of this. Powerful phrasings to reflect the most powerful form of sharing and giving!

Wow, this is so heartbreaking but so beautiful. It's like trying to let someone you dearly love go and forgetting everything and the only thing you choose to remember is how you felt it. The person and their love soon subsides, but you feel what you once had. Great job. Keep it up.
