I believed you.

by Scott   Jul 6, 2011

The taste of your kiss is a sweet reminisce, much like the way I remember each day.

I find they continue to fill up my soul, one that you killed and left full of holes.

The plentiful memories that we once share,
are now eternally my heavy burdens to bare.

I sit here and ponder when does the pain end, I regretfully accept this loss of my friend.

There must be some way for love to be found, as my heart cries out blood covers the ground.

You said that you loved me and would stay by my side, that was the truth which now is a lie.

Wow.. this is filled with emotions. I liked flow and rhyme and the substance was stunning. This is a really heartfelt poem, though i'd recommend you to present all lines as you did with the third part. I think that'd be more inviting other than that i don't have anything to complain about :)
