Poetry Never Fades

by DarkCrystalbtrfy   Jul 26, 2011

I like poetry that comes from with in
I like the deepest darkest places of sin
I like the light upon my lips
And feathers in-between my finger tips
I like the darkest part of day
And how poetry never fades
I like the drop of blood beneath the moon
And how it always falls too soon
I like the stars at night
And how they sparkle in the sky
I like how love never dies
But still always waits inside
I like how this note goes from me to you
And how you will stop reading this all too soon
Because the written word is all but lost
All we have now is such crude thoughts
No bit of romance
No bit of shine
All we have now is sour time
All but locked away in our hearts
The written word will remain
And till death it will stay the same
