His mistakes still linger

by Just a girl   Jul 28, 2011

His smell still lingers here.
His hand has faded from hers.

He was dealt lucky cards,
The hand dealt in his favor.
Every card played was just his game.

With only reminders of what once was,
Reminders of his game.
His smile imprinted in her heart,
Now tears flood where love once stood.

Broken and deceived, there she waits.
She has called upon her reaper,
Now waiting for the end to near.

His presence still lingers here.
Her flood of red is their last reminder now.

His emotions cut her wrists,
and that was the end.
One, Two, Three.
He ended her that easy.
