Not even trying to be sweet and kind

Making sure you were always there
Showed them how much you really cared
Now you're stuck feeling hurt and alone
Not knowing how from all the love you've shown
Some decisions you've made may not have been smart
So now not thinking clearly has grown you apart
You gave a lot, going on a whim
But all you wanted was to be with them
Loosing it all; for them was worth it
