One with its Other

by QueenGwen   Sep 27, 2011

Sunshine without shadows is cause with no effect,
day without night is wrong but no right.

You cannot know happiness without sadness
love without hate, is destroy but no create.

All things have two faces, the good and bad
heads or tails, pass and fail,
one cannot be measured without the other.

Who knows light if there was never dark?
Up if never down? Left if never right?

So to answer the question...
"How can a loving God allow for suffering in the world?"
There must be suffering for us to have pure joy.

Such good can only be measured by its other face, the polar opposite, pure evil.

Suffering prepares us to see the goodness in the world,
if nothing was evil, nothing could be good.

Imagine a world of nothing, monotone, blank.

Suffering without joy is life with no death,
its a circle, yin and yang, give and take, its one with its other.
