Consuming cloud

by Innocent Fairy   Nov 8, 2011

You're always on my mind,
I miss you a lot
and I worry about you
all the time

I seem to like you like crazy
for the butterflies still linger inside
and I wish this never happened
it's consumed you completely

I wish to be with you,
to hold each other
within a warm embrace
I wish to comfort you
when troubled and blue

I want to gently kiss you
be you're sunshine
to take away you're gray skies
I wish this cloud
was not over you're head

I do not like that you are far
I wish to take a week
fly off to you're place
to spend the days
doing what you think
and maybe
a walk on the beach

I do not wish to see you cry
I do not like that you are sad
I want you to be happy
and have the troubles melt away

You're always on my mind,
I miss you a lot
and I worry about you
all the time

I seem to like you like crazy
for the butterflies still linger inside
and I wish this never happened
it's consumed you completely

Interesting piece. I'll start by saying that there were parts that didn't flow well but that didn't matter because your emotions were clearer than water.

Very caring thoughts for a friend? I presume. Without the care and love from our friends, the soul sometimes dies, though the heart may be alive and beating.

This poem is so touching and your friend is lucky to have you. You really spilled your feelings out here and you can tell you love your friend dearly. I love how you took all the elements of friendship and love and poured them into a poem
