Promise My Revenge

Death in her eyes,
blood running through her veins,
fiery anger taking control,
losing all sense of humanity,
she doesn't care anymore.

One year ago to this day,
walking into her house,
a complete blood bath,
laying on the floor, breathless,
lay her beloved parents & brother,
dead in her tracks,
she screams out
"I will get revenge."

Guns, Knives all over her bed,
planning out her twisted revenge
upon the person who destroyed her life,
looking in the mirror,a devilish grin on her face,
she plots out the day her families killer
gets cut out of this world.

Two weeks later,
waiting outside his house,
gun fully loaded, knife sharpened,
looking at her watch, Midnight has arrived,
bursting into his house,
watching him drop to knees,
she feels no mercy, has no remorse,
as she ends his life the very way he took theirs.

Death in her eyes,
smiling sweetly looking down at him,
leaving the house looking up into the sky,
saying "I promised my revenge mom & dad,"
going back to her house,
the feeling of taking his life
gives her the sweetest taste of payback.

    i must answer this poem
    It is not too late for revenge
    I will take everything from you like you did

    Words of Forgiveness easy to say but hard to make the human inside me is Dead there is nothing more then hatred

    This word for weak people

    I hate fake people and those who just want to take not give

    Wow... I think this is one of the best poems I've read by you.. It just...captured so much attention from me especially just from the title and as usual, dear, you didn't disappoint. That was just so powerful; the anger and hatred were so vivid, I actually felt like I was becoming the girl myself.

    Holly, I like this much because you made me feel immense suspense and the growing tension between every two lines is just... enticing.

    I really love the whole poem, especially the first two parts,

    The words show me what could really be the sweetest person who's had her life turned around because her family was murdered. It's amazing though - we say that we could never do something like that but if we were ever faced with the same situation and someone killed my family, I'd be pretty angry myself. Who knows what any of us would do,

    An amazing poem, well written with a lot of emotion.

    I felt anger reading the poem - felt angry that there are people out there who would do such a thing
