Colorless Lights And Whispering Walls [Acrostic]

Can you hear the walls whispering to you,
Or is that just for the desperate people,
Let's pretend that this is true love for a night,
Only to wake up alone the next morning,
Riding the stars at night on a false high,
Laying on a bed of wrinkled sheets,
Enough with the sweet nothings, m'dear,
Soon the night will be through and so will you,
So let's pretend that these lights are colored.

Let the purple of the sheets intoxicate your mind,
In the middle of a king sized bed with a stranger,
Good job, sweetheart, you've accomplished it,
He thinks that he may be more than a one night stand,
Though you know that's what they all believed,
So wait until he wakes up to a black empty room.

And then he'll know that he was just a stranger,
Not someone you could love forever and ever,
Don't let him actually make you believe worthy.

When you're alone in your empty room again,
Harboring another morphine laced stranger,
In a colorless room filled with vibrant reds,
Seek the ones that won't feel anything more,
He'll be the one that you'll fall in love with,
Enough with the false beliefs you're a good girl,
Remember that he's using you too, dear,
Ignorance is bliss, but he is above and beyond,
Not another stupid one night stand man,
Good girls don't fall for those esctasy written lies.

Whenever you try to fall asleep, flashbacks hit,
And there you are again with the colorless rooms,
Let's hit another bar for another one night stand,
Let him feel so sure that he's worthy of you,
Soon his hope will drop with the colorless light of morning.
