Confirmation Fragmentation

I knew that there was no chance
That my love would not be returned.
That the Cat was dead.
Yet, it still devastated me
destroyed me
ravaged me
ruined me

To hear the words
Time stopped
From felicity
to melancholy
in a snap

Knowledge is power?
Knowledge is pain.

Constant Darkness
Never in the Light
I can only hope
for Grey sight

I thought I was ready
I thought I was strong
But only now in tears
do I feel my fears

Is it my destiny,
to walk alone?
The fragmentation
in the confirmation
I can never suffer
again.
